The biggest opponent is yourself.

Your biggest enemy is yourself.

What we know as children is that we must have a measure of comparison. That in order for someone to be competent, they must be more competent than someone else.

But in reality man has never been able and will never be able to know what is a better version of himself. Every time we accept a challenge and complete it, we go a little beyond our capabilities, we go the extra mile, we achieve a performance we didn’t think we were capable of. So, to our surprise, we recognize that we can perform even better, achieve even more, and this cycle continues.

We have made huge progress in sports, the performances are getting better and better and we are constantly increasing the demands of sports. This is not because we are competing with each other, but because through it we are competing with ourselves and constantly driving it to become a better version of itself.
